The nearby village of Staffin offers a well stocked shop, cafe/restaurant and take-away facilities as well as sandy beaches and rocky shoreline ideal for beach-combing or searching for the dinosaur footprints for which this area is famous. Wildlife spotting opportunities abound, with whales and dolphins regularly seen from the property (binoculars are provided!) and enormous, white-tailed sea eagles may be seen together with a plethora of other bird life.
